ARBOR DAY

The Parks Division maintains City sidewalks, downtown boulevards, and more than 160 acres of parkland (including trash removal, mowing grass, cleaning, and maintenance of rest room facilities). The Division also installs and maintains playground equipment, 11 skating rinks, lake buoys, and boat skids. The Division trims trees and shrubs throughout the City and performs grounds maintenance around the City's two fire stations, the police station, and City Hall. The Parks Division provides for planting and maintenance of flower gardens at various sites throughout the City and the hanging flower basket program in the downtown area. |
