10 Tips for Surviving the Winter Plowing Season
|
The Streets Division provides street maintenance for 101 miles of city streets and alleys. Activities include street sweeping, curb repairs, pothole patching, storm sewer repairs, shoulder grading, street surface repairs after water main breaks and City-wide tree trimming.
The Streets Division strives to keep all City streets, cul-de-sacs, alleys, parking lots, sidewalks and skating rinks cleared of snow during the winter months. White Bear Lake averages 54" of snowfall each year. City crews plow an average of 10 major snowfall events, in addition to minor cleanups and ice control operations. |
