SE Turret Structure

As part of the Matoska Park Parking Lot Rehabilitation project that was completed in 2021, the City installed two Rain Guardian Turret structures keep sediment and other debris from parking lot runoff out of White Bear Lake. The City received a grant from the Rice Creek Watershed District to cover half the cost of the Turret structures and installation.

The two Rain Guardian Turrets are estimated to capture and reduce total suspended solids (TSS) going to White Bear Lake by 360 lbs/year, and particulate phosphorus by 1.21 lbs/year.

Each year, Rotary Club hosts a park cleanup day and tree planting event.
