Environmental Advisory Commission

The Environmental Advisory Commission advises the City Council on policies and actions related to sustainability, climate change, and protection and rehabilitation of the natural environment in the City of White Bear Lake. The Commission studies, proposes and advocates for regulations and policies related to waste, water, resource, and energy management practices that are scientifically sound.   The Commission seeks input from and encourages White Bear Lake residents to adopt sustainable environmental practices in their homes, businesses, and neighborhoods through surveys, education and sponsorship of events showcasing available products and resources.

The Environmental Advisory Commission consists of seven members appointed by the Mayor to serve three year terms.

Meetings:  Generally, third Wednesday every month at 6:30 p.m.
