Single Sort Recycling

Recyclables are collected in a single sort method.  Materials do not need to be sorted into different groups, simply place all recycles into your recycling container.

Below is a list of commonly accepted recyclables:

  • Cardboard boxes (flattened and sized to fit in container)
  • Newspaper (w/inserts)
  • Magazines, mail, phone books & office paper
  • Milk cartons & juice boxes (rinse clean, replace caps)
  • Steel & aluminum cans (rinse clean, labels OK)
  • Glass bottles & jars (rinse clean, remove caps and lids)
  • Plastic food & beverage containers (empty, rinse, replace caps)

The following items DO NOT belong in your recycling container:

  • Household glass including light bulbs, drinking glasses, or mirrors
