Homeowner Raingarden on Richard Avenue

The City of White Bear Lake is committed to our local, regional and global environment.  As we work to preserve our quality neighborhoods and provide exceptional city services, we are aware of the balance between the need for urban services and the importance of protecting and managing our natural surroundings.

Several departments work together to protect the environment and the City's natural resources including Community Development/Planning, Engineering and Public Works. The City's commitment to the environment and its natural resources is defined by the vision and goals of its planning documents - the Comprehensive Plan and Surface Water Management Plan
