As a member city of the Ramsey Washington Suburban Cable Commission, the City of White Bear Lake may appoint one Director Representative and one Alternate to the Cable Commission. The commission oversees the cable television franchise for the district composed of 11 municipalities through enforcement of franchise provisions, monitoring customer satisfaction and managing the district’s assets.

The City of White Bear Lake is seeking applicants to represent the City on the Ramsey /Washington Suburban Cable Commission (SCC).  SCC was created through a Joint Powers Agreement (JPA) with Birchwood Village, Dillwood, Lake Elmo, Mahtomedi, North St. Paul, Oakdale, White Bear Township, Willernie and Grant Township with the general purpose of coordinating administration, enforcement and renewal of cable franchises.  Appointments are for a term of three years and the city is seeking a representative and an alternate to serve.
