Curbside Yard Waste

Leaves, brush, plant material and lawn clippings can be picked up by Republic Services for a fee. Contact Republic Services directly at 952-941-5174, Monday through Friday between 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. to make arrangements for yard waste service. 

Service Levels

There are three different service levels Republic offers:

Annual Service:  Unlimited service at an annual rate of $80/year for the months of April through November (Specific start and stop dates are weather dependent). The yard waste container is provided by Republic for use, free of charge.

Seasonal Service: Seasonal service for $50/year for months of August through November (weather permitting). Residents must provide their own compostable bags for this service.

On-Call Service: On-call service at a rate of $2.50 per bag of yard waste. There is a minimum charge of $20.00 (eight bags). Residents must provide their own compostable bags for this service.

Once you are signed up for year-round or seasonal service, the service will automatically be renewed each year unless you call Republic Services and cancel.

Curbside yard waste is picked up on the same day as your trash and recycling.

No More Plastic Bags

All yard waste must be placed in biodegradable paper bags (for seasonal and on-call service), or the reusable yard waste container provided by Republic Services (for annual service only). Plastic bags are no longer accepted.

Biodegradable paper bags are available at many hardware stores and home improvement stores.
