Volunteers Needed for Buckthorn Removal Event This Fall

The City’s Environmental Advisory Commission is planning a buckthorn removal event at Lakewood Hills Park in the fall of 2024. If you are interested in volunteering to help remove buckthorn, a non-native invasive species in our urban forests, sign up using the online form, below, to be included on the volunteer interest list. The date for the fall buckthorn removal event is yet to be determined and will be communicated through email.
