Fire Explorer Program

Sponsored by the Boy Scouts of America, the Fire Department Explorer Program is designed to provide young men and women with the opportunity to explore a career as a firefighter.  Students from ages 14-18 meet and train in firefighting, search and rescue, CPR and first aid.

Explorers also participate in live fire training, assisting the department with emergencies and the annual Explorers competition help at the Minnesota State Fair.
