Volunteer Reserve Officer

The White Bear Lake Police Department is seeking applicants to be volunteer police reserve officers. This is an excellent opportunity for current law enforcement students and/or community members.

Reserve officers are required to volunteer at least 12 hours per month, attend monthly meetings, patrol city parks and neighborhoods, transport prisoners and assist with community events. Uniforms and ongoing training will be provided.

Applicants must be high school graduates, at least 18 years old, possess a valid MN driver’s license with a good driving record, have no serious criminal convictions and have good moral character. A background check will be conducted.
