Foreclosure Prevention

Housing Crisis Response in Ramsey County provides housing services and support for Ramsey County families, single adults, and unaccompanied youth who are homeless or at imminent risk of becoming homeless.  For more information on foreclosure prevention, see Ramsey County's website.

If you or someone you know is homeless, or about to become homeless, you can call one of these phone numbers to get help:

Families: 651-215-2262, calls are answered Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Youth: 651-224-9644, calls are answered Monday-Friday 10 a.m.-8 p.m.
Single adults: 651-647-2555, appointments must be scheduled through the housing screener

Ramsey County Emergency Assistance

If you are concerned about interruptions in your income and paying your bills, Ramsey County is here to help with Emergency Assistance (EA) and Emergency General Assistance (EGA).  Emergency Assistance helps adults with children, and pregnant women.  Emergency General Assistance helps adults without children.  EGA and EA help with shelter, such as past due rent/mortgage or a damage deposit.  EA and EGA also help pay for utilities, including electricity, heat and water, when there is a threat of disconnection.

Ramsey County Recorders Office

The Ramsey County Recorder and Registrar of Titles Office maintains official real estate documents and provides retrieval and reproduction of these records for the public and businesses.

Property Tax Information

Any resident can search their property through Ramsey County's property search tool.  By searching a property, taxes can be viewed and paid online.  See Ramsey County's website to find your property's tax information.

Contractor Recovery Fund

The Contractor Recovery Fund is a State of Minnesota program which compensates owners or lessees of residential property in Minnesota who have suffered an actual and direct out-of-pocket loss due to a licensed contractor's fraudulent, deceptive or dishonest practices, conversion of funds or failure of performance.  Click here for more information.
